Ramya Swami is a current Senior at UC San Diego.. As captain of UCSD's cultural Raas-Garba dance team, Ramya was able to explore the world of social media marketing and graphic design. Using software from Microsoft Office, the Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro, she creates flyers, videos, photo collages, and other collaborative projects for use on her team’s various social media platforms. This material is used to spread awareness and attract interest for students who would like the chance to experience life on a collegiate dance team. Ramya thoroughly enjoys the challenge that each new season of social media marketing provides and finds herself wanting to pursue a career that allows her to employ this sort of creativity while working in the corporate field.
